Community Care Physicians (CCP) did not have a security incident. Our systems were not compromised.
Change Healthcare, which was previously a payment processing vendor for our billing system, Veradigm, did have a security incident. This past relationship is why CCP was named in letters our patients received.
If you have questions, patients can call Change Healthcare at 1-866-262-5342, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, CT. Change Healthcare is offering patients the option to sign up for free credit protection. Please follow the instructions in your letter.

Stefanie Allison

Biography

Dr. Stefanie Allison is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She began her undergraduate studies at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida where she graduated with honors and received her Bachelor of Arts degree. Dr. Allison completed her OB/GYN residency training at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.

Dr. Allison is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, a member of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association, a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, a member of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology, a member of the Cellular Medicine Association, and a member of the American Medical Association.

Although Dr. Allison had thought about a career in medicine, she initially found herself in the IT industry after graduating from college. She decided to pursue a career in medicine because her work in IT left her unfulfilled, wanting to do something more meaningful. Dr. Allison believes the best part of her job is truly making a difference in someone’s life. She especially enjoys caring for the LGBTQ community, a traditionally marginalized patient population.

Dr. Allison has a special interest in lesbian/transgender health care and minimally invasive/robotic surgery. As a mother of two boys, in her spare time she is usually busy with hockey and lacrosse games and school activities. She also enjoys scuba diving, mountain biking, and hanging out with her dog.
