Dr. Geri Aitken earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family practice residency at Albany Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident.

Dr. Aitken is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. She is a recipient of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Resident Teaching Award and is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
