Keana Albert

Biography

Keana Albert, MS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Family Medicine at Capital Region Family Medicine in Latham. She provides care for patients of all ages, with a particular passion for geriatrics.

Keana’s interest in becoming a Physician Assistant began while working as a scribe in an emergency department in Pennsylvania. Working alongside providers inspired her to pursue a career that would allow her to care for patients and make a meaningful difference in their lives. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Medical and Health Humanities, with minors in Chemistry and Ethics, from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania. She went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Keana is passionate about relieving suffering, promoting healthy lifestyles, and providing care in underserved areas. She believes one of the most important parts of caring for patients is simply listening. By taking the time to understand her patients and their concerns, she strives to provide thoughtful, individualized care and build trusting relationships.

Keana moved to the Capital Region in 2022 after looking for a place to live away from where she grew up in Pennsylvania. She quickly fell in love with the Adirondacks and enjoys exploring the area through trail running and other outdoor activities.

Outside of medicine, Keana enjoys reading, traveling and being outdoors. She also values slow mornings, hot yoga, and making time for self-care.
