EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Biography

Sarah Aluck, PNP, earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Russell Sage College. She went on to achieve her Master of Science in child health nursing, completing the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at the State University of New York-Stony Brook. Sarah is certified by the Pediatric Nurse Certification Board and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Sarah has over 19 years of nursing experience, having spent most of that time working in the Neonatal ICU and with premature and critically ill infants.

Her favorite part of working in pediatrics is meeting the children and their families and having the ability to address their concerns. When providing care to patients, Sarah emphasizes the importance of communication. She also has an interest in premature infants and children with special needs.

In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with her family, reading, and cooking.
