EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Samantha Kunz

Biography

Samantha Kunz is a certified physician assistant and a member of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology, on the discovery degree track, from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY.

When caring for patients, Samantha believes looking at each patient as a whole and educating them about their medical issues and overall health is most important. In addition, she loves connecting with her patients and helping them improve their health. Samantha is eager to work with each patient to develop treatment plans specific to them, which will ultimately help them reach their health goals.

Samantha is originally from Upstate New York. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
