Dr. Lisa Bevilacqua is double board certified in family medicine and aesthetic medicine. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Following this, Dr. Bevilacqua completed an osteopathic rotating internship at St. Clare’s Hospital in Manhattan, New York. She continued her training at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, completing a family medicine residency in 1994. Dr. Bevilacqua has a particular interest in prevention and addiction medicine. She sees patients at CapitalCare Family Practice Slingerlands, providing family medicine and aesthetic medicine.
Initially, Dr. Bevilacqua wanted to focus on medical research, but she enjoyed seeing patients much more. What she loves most is helping patients pursue healthier lifestyles. Outside of the office, Dr. Bevilacqua works at Saint Peters Addiction Recovery Center (SPARC) in the ambulatory unit and global health in Uganda. She also serves as the Medical Director for Northeast Parent and Child Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Bevilacqua enjoys being outdoors; she has go-to activities for every season! She enjoys boating, water skiing, kayaking, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, hunting, and fishing.
