EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Biography

I love watching families grow up and young kids become adolescents and adults and realize their dreams. I have some patients who now bring their children to me for care and I love that circle of life. I love that I feel like I am a part of their families.

Dr. Carol Greenblatt is one of the senior physicians at CapitalCare Pediatrics Troy. Her residency was completed at Winthrop University Hospital on Long Island. She then moved back to where her roots were, the Capital District.

Dr. Greenblatt knew from the 5th grade she wanted to be a pediatrician. With her passion for science and want to work with children, her teaching suggested her career, and since then, there has been nothing else she wanted to do.

One of the areas that interest her is adolescent medicine and the growth and development of the adolescent brain. Helping both patients and parents navigate such a difficult time in their lives is something Dr. Greenblatt strives to do and hopes to provide them comfort.

She has a loving husband, daughter, and son, whom she loves to travel with whenever she’s able to. Dr. Greenblatt is active in her church and local community choirs, even a virtual choir! There’s only one thing she might love as much as helping her patients and being with her family, and that’s anything and everything Disney!
