Biography

Britney Wager is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) on our Integrated Behavioral Health team. BHCs at Community Care Physicians are licensed mental health providers and social workers. Many are embedded within our practices working side by side with your doctor and health care team in delivering you the best “whole person” healthcare possible.

Britney’s background includes individual counseling, treating people with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, adjustment disorders, life transitions, and stress management. Her previous experience comprised a diverse patient population. Britney loves being able to build meaningful connections in which patients feel validated, heard, and empowered to learn new skills to improve their well-being.

She originally went to school to be an elementary school teacher. After she graduated from college, Britney moved to South Carolina to teach elementary special education. During this time, she realized she was passionate about children’s mental health, which solidified her decision to pursue a career in clinical mental health.

Outside work, Britney enjoys spending time with her children, family, and dogs. She likes to go hiking and read books.
