Dr. Andrew Isenberg is a board-certified general surgeon. He completed his undergraduate degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, receiving a B.S. in microbiology. Dr. Isenberg then earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed his residency training in surgery at the Albany Medical Center Surgery Program, where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, Dr. Isenberg completed a transplantation fellowship at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, and then a pancreas transplantation fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. He is active in the surgical community, participating in many medical committees, presenting on surgical topics, and authoring several publications. Dr. Isenberg has also served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at Albany Medical Center and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery, a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Isenberg sees adult patients ages 18 and older with limited procedures on children and adolescents at Community Care General Surgery in Latham and Delmar, NY.
