Community Care Physicians (CCP) did not have a security incident. Our systems were not compromised.
Change Healthcare, which was previously a payment processing vendor for our billing system, Veradigm, did have a security incident. This past relationship is why CCP was named in letters our patients received.
If you have questions, patients can call Change Healthcare at 1-866-262-5342, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, CT. Change Healthcare is offering patients the option to sign up for free credit protection. Please follow the instructions in your letter.

Biography

Alexandra (Ali) Watson, PharmD, BCACP, is board certified in ambulatory care pharmacy. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy, completing her residency program at Albany Stratton Veteran Affairs Medical Center.

Ali loves to educate her patients as well as future pharmacists! She is an associate professor in the department of pharmacy practice at Albany College of Pharmacy, where she teaches a pharmacy skills laboratory and a workshop. In this workshop, students review complex patient cases to make medication recommendations and review drug information literature.

Ali says the best part of her job is working directly with patients to explain the role of the medication in their treatment. She feels that if patients have a strong understanding of how medications work and the reasons it is recommended, they will have more control over their health.

Ali enjoys spending time with family, gardening, reading, and baking in her spare time.
