Some of our patients have received letters in the mail from Change Healthcare regarding a data breach.
Community Care Physicians (CCP) did not have a security incident. Our systems were not compromised.
Change Healthcare, which was previously a payment processing vendor for our billing system, Veradigm, did have a security incident. This past relationship is why CCP was named in letters our patients received.
If you have questions, patients can call Change Healthcare at 1-866-262-5342, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, CT. Change Healthcare is offering patients the option to sign up for free credit protection. Please follow the instructions in your letter.

Practice Policies:

Please arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals cause schedule delays for your fellow patients at our office. If you are late to your appointment, we will likely need to reschedule your appointment.

We require 24-hour notice for cancellations which must be received during business hours in order to avoid being charged a $50 no-show fee.

The Child Neurology Group charges $10.00 for any paperwork sent to the office for the providers to complete outside of an office visit.

Please call our office first before coming in if you are ill to avoid the potential of unnecessarily exposing other patients and our staff to COVID-19. While we don’t currently offer walk-in hours, our practitioners are easily accessible to care for you in multiple ways, including over the phone, using a video visit (telemedicine), or in the office while following strict infection control procedures to keep you safe. Whatever your need, you should call our office and our team will determine the best way to care for you.

As a patient of The Child Neurology Group, we know that you expect excellent patient care, clear and timely communication, and care and concern for you and your family. We work tirelessly to try to meet these expectations for you. However, the team at The Child Neurology Group expects respectful treatment at all times.
