EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Dr. Peter Rienzi is board certified in internal medicine and has specialized in this area of medicine for over 20 years. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the New York University Grossman School of Medicine in New York City, New York, and completed his residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Dr. Rienzi is a member of the American College of Physicians and vice president of the Mohawk Valley Medical Associates.
