Originally from Binghamton, Perri Clifford, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Binghamton University. She proceeded to receive her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Albany Medical College. Perri is a member of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
While attending college, Perri worked at a local hospital as a nursing assistant, where she had the opportunity to work on a neurosurgical step-down unit as well as a general neurology floor. During this time, she fell in love with the intense and critical thinking required in the field of neurology. The complexity needed to treat patients and practice in neurology is something Perri is passionate about. As a physician assistant, it is her job to help her patients understand and be comfortable with whatever they seek care for. Perri’s favorite part of working in medicine is making an impact and being allowed to help patients during some of their most difficult times.
When it comes to caring for patients, Perri believes getting to know them and listening to their stories and their concerns are most important. Moreover, she feels holistically treating each patient is necessary for quality patient care. As your advanced practitioner, Perri will get to know you and offer her assistance in any way you need, whether it’s medical advice, treatment, or just having someone to listen.
Outside of work, Perri likes to spend time with her two energetic dogs, hiking, as well as any other outdoor activity. She aspires to one day be an Adirondack 46er!
At CapitalCare Neurology of Community Care Physicians, Perri cares for patients 5 years of age and older.
