Paige Cobb, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician at Albany Family Medicine. She provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages and is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr. Cobb earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Health Studies from Siena College in Loudonville, NY, before earning her Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College. She completed her residency at the Meritus Family Medicine Residency Program in Hagerstown, MD. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.

Dr. Cobb was drawn to medicine after taking Anatomy and Physiology and Sports Medicine courses in high school, where she developed a fascination with how the human body works. She found that a career in medicine allowed her to combine her interest in science with her desire to serve others. She was drawn to Family Medicine early in medical school and enjoys the variety the specialty offers, from caring for patients of all ages and advocating for community health to providing in-office procedures and caring for patients in the hospital.

Her clinical interests include women’s health, medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders, and in-office procedures such as IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, and skin biopsies. Dr. Cobb believes that listening is one of the most important aspects of caring for her patients. By taking the time to understand their concerns fully, she strives to partner with each patient to help them achieve and maintain their health goals.

A Capital Region native, Dr. Cobb was raised in Latham, NY, and is excited to continue caring for the community where she grew up. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
