Megan Sanger is a family nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in nursing, family nurse practitioner from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY, and completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University online. Megan began her nursing studies at Samaritan School of Nursing in Troy, NY, earning her associate’s degree. She started her career in the Air Force as an EMT/medic and knew then she wanted to be in healthcare. Megan continues her military career as a Registered Nurse in the Air Force Reserves. She has worked in emergency medicine, urgent care, and orthopedic surgery throughout her nursing career. Megan is especially interested in preventative medicine, especially after working in the ER.
She loves seeing patients from day one all the way to end-of-life care. Megan looks forward to building relationships with her patients, as her personal primary care provider has done with her and her family throughout the years. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, crafting, and cooking.
