Mary Connors received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY, and her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Union College in Schenectady, NY. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society. She is professionally proficient in Spanish.

Mary decided to pursue pharmacy because she enjoys interacting directly with patients and working as a member of their healthcare team to help patients achieve their optimal level of health. Her favorite part of working as a pharmacist is being able to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Mary believes the most important thing is to connect with patients personally, advocating for them and acting as a resource for medication information.

Mary works as a pharmacist on the central Medicare Wellness Visit team, conducting visits with Medicare patients to identify appropriate preventative health screenings and immunization opportunities. Mary also reviews medication lists and engages in Medication Therapy Management, performs comprehensive medication reviews for patients, and assesses for drug interactions and medication list accuracy and completeness.

Mary is from the Capital Region and remained in the area to practice pharmacy in her local community. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with family, walking and playing with her dog, Daphne, and getting outdoors in the Adirondacks.
