Biography

Madison Blood, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care through a whole-person approach. She is passionate about family medicine and values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while helping them achieve their health goals through preventive care, education, and shared decision-making.

Madison earned her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at St. Bonaventure University. During her clinical training, she completed elective rotations in hematology-oncology and outpatient neurology, gaining valuable experience in hematologic conditions, neurodegenerative disorders, and migraine management.

Before pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant, Madison worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where she discovered her passion for helping others and providing compassionate care. She was drawn to family medicine for its comprehensive nature, allowing her to care for patients at all stages of life while incorporating each individual’s preferences, lifestyle, and medical history into their treatment plan.

Madison believes that every patient is unique and that the best healthcare comes from understanding a person’s full picture of physical, emotional, social, and cultural well-being. She emphasizes strong patient-provider relationships, individualized care plans, and patient education, helping patients feel informed and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Her clinical interests include family medicine, preventive care, and promoting overall wellness. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the New York State Society of Physician Associates, and the Phi Alpha Honor Society.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys hiking, kayaking, and camping throughout the Capital Region. She is passionate about supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and hopes to visit all of America’s national parks. She believes that great healthcare is built on collaboration between patients and the entire healthcare team, working together to achieve the best possible outcomes.
