Community Care Physicians (CCP) did not have a security incident. Our systems were not compromised.
Change Healthcare, which was previously a payment processing vendor for our billing system, Veradigm, did have a security incident. This past relationship is why CCP was named in letters our patients received.
If you have questions, patients can call Change Healthcare at 1-866-262-5342, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, CT. Change Healthcare is offering patients the option to sign up for free credit protection. Please follow the instructions in your letter.

Laura Engelbrecht

Biography

Laura Engelbrecht is a certified physician assistant with an additional master’s degree in public health. She completed her physician assistant program at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her master’s degree at the State University of New York at Albany, School of Public Health, where she concentrated in social behavior and community health.

While working in public health, Laura found her passion for helping others. She was inspired to have more of a direct impact on people’s lives which led her to pursue a career in medicine. Laura ties in all her experience and education when treating her patients. She believes in ensuring patients succeed in their own health goals and actively listening to their needs and concerns. She has a special interest in women’s health and mental health.

Laura is on several committees through the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and volunteers in her free time. She takes care of her own physical and mental health by running and spending quality time with her family.
