EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Biography

My favorite part of my job is encouraging people to live their best life and have more fun.

Julia Roske is a licensed and certified physician assistant and dietician specializing in preventative health care with an emphasis on nutrition and extensive experience in the provision of occupational health services. She is a graduate of Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, earning her degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Julia also has her Bachelor of Science in dietetics from the State University of New York at Oneonta in Oneonta, NY. Initially, Julia was a registered dietician until she decided she wanted to help her patients more comprehensively, which led her to become a physician assistant. Some of the areas she’s specifically interested in are diabetes care and education, travel medicine, and occupational medicine.

Julia is very involved in her community and stays active when she isn’t with her patients. She participates in charity bike rides to raise money for the American Diabetes Association, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Habitat for Humanity. Julia enjoys bike riding, cross country skiing, and hiking. She finds time to build telescopes with her husband in her downtime due to her interest in astronomy! Her craftiness doesn’t end there, though; she also makes things such as beer, cheese, canoes, and even engraves glass!

Julia cares for adult patients at Capital Healthcare Associates in Troy, NY.
