Julia Roske is a licensed and certified physician assistant and dietician specializing in preventative health care with an emphasis on nutrition and extensive experience in the provision of occupational health services. She is a graduate of Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, earning her degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Julia also has her Bachelor of Science in dietetics from the State University of New York at Oneonta in Oneonta, NY. Initially, Julia was a registered dietician until she decided she wanted to help her patients more comprehensively, which led her to become a physician assistant. Some of the areas she’s specifically interested in are diabetes care and education, travel medicine, and occupational medicine.
Julia is very involved in her community and stays active when she isn’t with her patients. She participates in charity bike rides to raise money for the American Diabetes Association, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Habitat for Humanity. Julia enjoys bike riding, cross country skiing, and hiking. She finds time to build telescopes with her husband in her downtime due to her interest in astronomy! Her craftiness doesn’t end there, though; she also makes things such as beer, cheese, canoes, and even engraves glass!
