EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Jessica Berman

Biography

Dr. Jessica Berman is a board-certified family physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed a family medicine residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Dr. Berman earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She continues to pursue her interest in medicine, precepting at Ellis Medicine’s family practice residency in Schenectady, New York. Dr. Berman stays active in her community as a volunteer with the Schenectady Department of Health as a contact tracer during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Berman is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but made her way to the Capital Region, NY, to practice medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the bassoon.
