Christine Normile is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a member of the American Nurses Association. She received her Master of Science in nursing, family nurse practitioner from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY. Christine began her nursing studies at Maria College in Albany, NY, earning her Bachelor of Science in nursing. She also earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Maria College. Christine is interested in women’s health, pediatrics, and health promotion/disease prevention.
When Christine was young, her nurse practitioner went above and beyond for herself and her family and is Christine’s inspiration for becoming a nurse practitioner. Christine’s goal is to provide the same care to her patients as she received. Her favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is developing a solid rapport with patients and providing them with the tools they need to improve their health. Christine believes in looking at patients holistically and how their medical needs affect the big picture. She strives to provide the best care possible in collaboration with her patients. Like Christine says, “Healthcare works best as a team!” What brings her the most satisfaction professionally is seeing patients improve and take the initiative in their care.
Christine was born and raised in Watervliet, NY. She loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoys trips to New England, going to the beach, and of course, the seafood! Christine’s go-to relaxing mechanism is reading.
