Charlene Stelluti is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a member of the American Nurses Association. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Charlene began her studies at Maria College in Albany, New York, earning her Bachelor of Science in nursing and associate’s degree in nursing. At CCP, she is a member of the Clinical Services team and supports their initiative to broaden access to Medicare Wellness visits to patients remotely and telephonically. Charlene is interested in health maintenance, prevention, and collaborating with each patient and member of the health care team to improve communication and the patient’s quality of life. All of Charlene’s training was completed in primary care office settings, which helped her have a well-rounded education in learning about many different conditions and how to treat each condition best using evidence-based guidelines.
Charlene has always felt such joy in helping others. Her goal is to work as a team with each patient she has the privilege to care for and help them physically, emotionally, and spiritually to live the most fulfilling life. Charlene loves being able to care for others, and being there to navigate through all health challenges, celebrate triumphs, and see them flourish in health physically, emotionally and spiritually is her favorite part of the job. She believes effective communication and viewing the patient as a whole, including reviewing medical history, is important for quality care. She also believes you can learn so much from listening to understand and not listening to respond. Charlene always tells her patients, “I can’t help you unless I know what you are faced with. Together we can work through anything! When ‘I’ is replaced by ‘We,’ even illness becomes wellness.” Working together with the patient to formulate an individualized care plan utilizing evidence-based guidelines to ensure safe and effective care is always what Charlene strives for.
Charlene lived in Albany all of her life. She enjoys working with patients within her community to help each person optimize their health. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and riding horses.
