Alexis Hargrave is a certified physician assistant. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Alexis began her studies at King’s College, earning her Bachelor of Science in biology and medical studies. During her training, Alexis completed a clinical internship at CapitalCare Family Practice Slingerlands. She has worked in family practice at our office in Averill Park but is now seeing patients at Community Care Family Practice Colonie.

Alexis always had a love for life sciences. She enjoyed acts of service growing up and wanted to integrate these passions by practicing medicine. Alexis specifically chose family practice because she wanted the ability to treat patients, and hopefully entire families, in all aspects of their health throughout their lifetime.

Originally from Voorheesville, Alexis enjoys staying active and fit, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling to sporting events and growing within through meditation.
