Community Care opens urgent care across from Albany Med
Community Care Physicians will operate the new Albany Urgent Care center, its first urgent care site to be open during the day. The urgent care center will be at 391 Myrtle Ave. in Albany.
Some of our patients have received letters in the mail from Change Healthcare regarding a data breach.
Community Care Physicians (CCP) did not have a security incident. Our systems were not compromised.
Change Healthcare, which was previously a payment processing vendor for our billing system, Veradigm, did have a security incident. This past relationship is why CCP was named in letters our patients received.
If you have questions, patients can call Change Healthcare at 1-866-262-5342, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, CT. Change Healthcare is offering patients the option to sign up for free credit protection. Please follow the instructions in your letter.
