Urgent Care consolidating into Latham, Albany Urgent Care Closed

Effective October 1, 2020, Albany Urgent Care closed. Please use Community Care Physicians' Latham Urgent Care at 711 Troy-Schenectady Road, Suite 102, Latham, NY for urgent care services.

Community Care Physicians (CCP) is exploring new ways to deliver Urgent Care as our primary care locations continue to expand access, and as we see a greater proliferation of Centers in the area.

After careful consideration, we have decided to consolidate all urgent care staff and services into Latham and close our Albany Urgent Care location effective Thursday, October 1. We understand patients have utilized the care at our Albany Urgent Care location; however, we are confident you will find the same level of care and convenience at our Latham Urgent Care location. For in-person Urgent Care services, please visit Latham Urgent Care, 711 Troy-Schenectady Road, Suite 102, Latham, for expanded urgent care services.

While CCP encourages you to utilize primary care offices for your first point of access for care, the Urgent Care Center supports you when your doctor’s office isn’t immediately available or if you don’t have a primary care provider (we can also help with this if needed!). If you need urgent care services, please visit Latham Urgent Care during the following hours:

Latham Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9 am to 11:30 pm

Saturday and Sunday: 10 am to 7:30 pm

Holidays: 10 am to 4:30 pm*

*Hours may vary.

Latham Urgent Care offers a full scope of urgent care services, including but not limited to care for cold/flu, allergies, UTI, URI, STD, infections, plaster splinting until orthopedics follow-up, stitches and minor laceration repair, no fault, STAT and non-STAT lab testing, and immigration physicals. Latham Urgent Care also sees patients for COVID-related respiratory symptoms. If it’s determined in the visit that testing is needed, they will perform COVID-19 diagnostic molecular testing (including rapid molecular testing following our testing guidelines), strep and flu testing at the time of the visit during business hours. They also draw labs for serology in the Urgent Care practice.

Urgent Care sees patients of all ages, with one exception – newborns under 3 months old with fever as a symptom. Most major insurances are accepted.

Stay tuned for additional updates on our urgent care and episodic care services – including virtual care for illness and injuries coming soon to a phone and computer near you! This service will be as easy as C-C-P…details to come soon!
