Tech Valley Sleep Center Patients Achieve Strong Results with CPAP Therapy

Tech Valley Sleep Center Patients Achieve Strong Results with CPAP Therapy

Patient education, personalized support, and follow-up help patients stay on track with sleep apnea treatment

For people diagnosed with sleep apnea, getting a CPAP machine is just the beginning. The real goal is to make CPAP therapy a comfortable, consistent part of everyday life—and patients at Tech Valley Sleep Center are showing strong results.

“Our sleep specialists at Tech Valley Sleep Center excel at providing thorough patient education for all treatment options, including CPAP therapy. Understanding the mechanics of your diagnosis, the way that your treatment works, and the effect that getting better sleep has on your overall health before you try sleeping with a CPAP machine has set up our patients for success.” Gabby Reyes, Practice Manager.

Data from Tech Valley Sleep Center (TVSC) show that 88.7% of patients are successfully adhering to their CPAP therapy at 90 days, compared with 75.7% in the broader patient population.

That means TVSC patients achieve CPAP adherence rates more than 10% higher than the broader population.

Helping Patients Start Strong

Why are Tech Valley Sleep Center patients seeing such positive results?

The approach begins with education.

Rather than simply telling patients they need a CPAP machine, the TVSC team takes time to help them understand their sleep study results, their diagnosis, and how untreated sleep apnea can affect their health. Patients also learn how CPAP therapy works and why consistent use is important.

This education helps patients begin treatment with a better understanding of what to expect—and why their treatment matters.

But education is only one part of the equation.

Once therapy begins, Tech Valley Sleep Center provides ongoing support to help patients use their CPAP equipment comfortably and effectively. This includes timely setup, mask-fitting assistance, coaching, troubleshooting, and follow-up.

The result is a patient-centered approach that focuses not just on getting patients started, but on helping them succeed.

Strong Results Across the First 90 Days

TVSC patients remained above the average population for successful CPAP use each month during the 90-day period.

This consistency is important because the first several weeks of CPAP therapy can be a critical adjustment period. Patients may need help finding the right mask fit, getting comfortable with the equipment or working through common challenges that can make it difficult to stay on track.

Having support available along the way can help patients overcome those challenges and continue treatment.

The results among Medicaid patients are particularly encouraging. Tech Valley Sleep Center’s Medicaid population was more than 34% more successful with CPAP adherence than the national average for Medicaid patients.

Nearly 700 Patients Started CPAP Therapy in One Year

Between June 2025 and May 2026, 698 new patients at Tech Valley Sleep Center began CPAP therapy.

For each patient, successful treatment means more than receiving a machine. It means understanding their diagnosis, knowing how to use their equipment, having support when questions or challenges arise, and developing the confidence to make CPAP therapy part of their routine.

The strong adherence results demonstrate the potential value of combining patient education, personalized support, and continued follow-up throughout the treatment journey.

At Tech Valley Sleep Center, the goal is simple: help patients not only start CPAP therapy but use it successfully.
