The Child Neurology Group cares for patients from birth through 25 and welcomes new patients up to age 18. We evaluate and treat a wide range of neurological, developmental, and behavioral conditions, including:

Practice Policies:

Thank you for trusting us with your/your child’s care. To help us provide timely, high-quality service to all patients, please review the following office policies:
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. New patients who have not completed pre-registration are asked to arrive 30 minutes before the appointment time.
• Patients arriving more than 5 minutes after their appointment starts will be rescheduled.
• Patients who realize they will arrive more than 5 minutes late should call our office. Depending on the circumstances and eligibility, we may be able to convert your appointment to a telemedicine visit or help you reschedule.
• Patients must be seen in person at least once every 12 months to receive medication renewals and ongoing care.
• Patients not seen for 3 years or more must re-establish care as a new patient with a new referral.
• Community Care charges a $200 fee for a no-show specialist appointment. If you do not show for your appointment, it is your responsibility to contact the office to reschedule.
• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations will result in dismissal from the practice.
• We are required to collect any copays and deductibles before your appointment.
• It is your responsibility to bring your photo ID and insurance card to every appointment.
• Please notify our office promptly of any changes to your address, phone number, email address or insurance information.
• Insurance information must be provided before your appointment to allow eligibility verification and prior authorization processing. Failure to provide required information may result in rescheduling or financial responsibility for services rendered.
• Please allow 2 business days for prescription refill requests. Some insurances require prior authorization for medication, and controlled substances require additional review.
• Please allow 2 business days for completion of forms (school, camp, DMV, medication administration, etc.)
• There is a $10.00 fee for any paperwork sent to the office for providers to complete outside of an office visit.
• We expect all patients, families, and visitors to treat staff, providers and other patients with courtesy and respect. Disruptive, threatening, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in dismissal from the practice.
• It is your responsibility to keep your/your child’s account in good financial standing and address any past due balances in a timely manner.
• Providers at The Child Neurology Group cannot be the primary care provider. Our providers will communicate with the primary care provider regarding medical care.
• Community Care does not allow video or audio recording by patients or parents.
• Large medical records requests are processed through Verisma and require 1-2 weeks.
