Niskayuna Power Outage Update

Our Niskayuna practices at River Road Health Park (2125 River Road) are continuing to experience phone and internet disruptions following yesterday’s outage caused by an electrical transformer fire. Our service providers are actively working to restore service as quickly as possible.

If your appointment needs to be rescheduled or changed (including to a telemedicine visit), your doctor’s office will contact you directly by phone, text, or email (please note, not all appointments are affected). We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. If you are unable to reach your office for non-urgent needs, please try again once service has been restored (which we expect may take up to 6 hours). For urgent medical concerns, if your doctor’s office is unavailable, please seek care at the nearest urgent care or emergency department, or call 911.

Community Care General Surgery

About

Community Care General Surgery offers the latest surgical techniques and treatments, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery options. Our patients and their families can expect personalized attention from the initial referral through preoperative counseling, surgical intervention, and postoperative follow-up.

Our office location offers many advantages, including an Interventional and Endoscopy Suite, also known as the Quad, to perform certain outpatient surgical procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies. This offers patients the advantage of a private office setting with pre- and post-procedure areas and ample parking. Additionally, patients are only responsible for an office-based copayment instead of a hospital-based copayment for their procedure at the Interventional and Endoscopy Suite.

Our surgeons perform inpatient and outpatient procedures at St. Peter’s Hospital and Samaritan Hospital.

Our surgeons at Community Care General Surgery treat patients experiencing various problems requiring surgery, from benign, routine conditions to cancers. Community Care General Surgery has the support from CCP’s other cancer specialists, including subspecialized breast radiologists at the Ruth Beer Breast Center at ImageCare, radiation oncologists at Image Guided Radiation Therapy, medical oncologists from Upstate Hematology Oncology, and oncology nurse navigators. We work together to offer you comprehensive cancer care so you can stay close to home and your loved ones.

Community Care General Surgery sees adults ages 18 and older with limited procedures on children and adolescents. Please call the office directly with your diagnosis for additional information on the services offered.
