Effective March 13, 2024, Community Care Physicians will no longer participate in Humana. If you have this insurance, we are not discharging you from our practice and will continue to see you, but you should select another insurance to avoid paying out of pocket for your care. We accept many insurance plans from which you can choose that offer comparable coverage.

Community Care General Surgery offers the latest surgical techniques and treatments, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery options. Our patients and their families can expect the personalized attention they deserve from initial referral, preoperative counseling, surgical intervention, and postoperative follow-up.

Our office location offers many advantages, including an Endoscopy and Surgical Care Suite to perform certain outpatient surgical procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies. This offers patients the advantage of a private office setting with pre- and post-procedure areas and ample parking. Additionally, patients are only responsible for an office-based copayment instead of a hospital-based copayment for their procedure at the Endoscopy and Surgical Care Suite.

Our surgeons perform inpatient and outpatient procedures at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Our surgeons at Community Care General Surgery treat patients experiencing various problems requiring surgery, from benign, routine conditions to cancers. Community Care General Surgery has the support from CCP’s other cancer specialists, including subspecialized breast radiologists at the Breast Center at ImageCare, radiation oncologists at Image Guided Radiation Therapy, medical oncologists from Upstate Hematology Oncology, and oncology nurse navigators. We work together to offer you comprehensive cancer care so you can stay close to home and your loved ones.

Community Care General Surgery sees adults ages 18 and older with limited procedures on children and adolescents. Please call the office directly with your diagnosis for additional information on the services offered.
