Community Care General Surgery

Community Care General Surgery will be closing at noon on Wednesday, November 27, and will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, in observance of Thanksgiving.

About

Community Care General Surgery offers the latest surgical techniques and treatments, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery options. Our patients and their families can expect the personalized attention they deserve from initial referral, preoperative counseling, surgical intervention, and postoperative follow-up.

Our office location offers many advantages, including an Interventional and Endoscopy Suite to perform certain outpatient surgical procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies. This offers patients the advantage of a private office setting with pre- and post-procedure areas and ample parking. Additionally, patients are only responsible for an office-based copayment instead of a hospital-based copayment for their procedure at the Interventional and Endoscopy Suite.

Our surgeons perform inpatient and outpatient procedures at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Our surgeons at Community Care General Surgery treat patients experiencing various problems requiring surgery, from benign, routine conditions to cancers. Community Care General Surgery has the support from CCP’s other cancer specialists, including subspecialized breast radiologists at the Breast Center at ImageCare, radiation oncologists at Image Guided Radiation Therapy, medical oncologists from Upstate Hematology Oncology, and oncology nurse navigators. We work together to offer you comprehensive cancer care so you can stay close to home and your loved ones.

Community Care General Surgery sees adults ages 18 and older with limited procedures on children and adolescents. Please call the office directly with your diagnosis for additional information on the services offered.
