EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Sara Feinland

Biography

Dr. Sara Feinland, originally from Clifton Park, NY, is a resident physician at Albany Family Medicine in Albany, NY. She attended SUNY Geneseo, earning a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. She was a scribe at the Center for Disability Services before attending the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Feinland was drawn to family medicine because of the continuity of care and the ability to do many different things every day. She is particularly interested in women’s health and caring for LGBTQ+ patients. Outside medicine, Dr. Feinland loves taking care of her many house plants, reading a good book in her spare time, and hiking and cross-country skiing.
