EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Kristen Compa

Biography

Dr. Kristen Compa is board certified in pediatrics. She graduated with her medical degree from the University of Buffalo. Dr. Compa returned to the Capital Region to complete her pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center, where she focused on the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity.

Dr. Compa’s passion for medicine, specifically caring for children, began on summer break during high school when she shadowed Dr. Constance Glasgow. Her other passions include spending time with her husband and two children, as well as shopping and tap dancing!
