Dr. Kate Woll was born and raised in the Capital Region. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Siena College in Loudonville, NY, before earning her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Her residency program was completed at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Dr. Woll is a board-certified pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Capital District Pediatric Society. She practiced general pediatrics in both North Carolina and Connecticut prior to returning to the Capital Region.
Dr. Woll has always had a passion for helping children. She and her family are involved in the Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch in Lake Luzerne, NY, a summer camp for children with serious medical conditions. Her involvement in this summer camp led to a career in pediatric medicine. Dr. Woll particularly enjoys the areas of early childhood development and the care of newborns. She says, “My favorite part of my job is watching my patients grow into healthy and happy individuals.”
Outside the office, Dr. Woll enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and her labradoodle. In her free time, she likes to read, bake and spend time outdoors.
