EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

George Soryal

Biography

Dr. George Soryal is board certified in internal medicine. He finished his training at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, where he completed a fellowship in nephrology. Dr. Soryal received his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and completed an internal medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has authored numerous publications, contributed to medical research, and has a particular interest in nephrology and hypertension.

Dr. Soryal is originally from Egypt! When he isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys reading and hiking. He also has an interest in computers and technology.
