Dr. Efrossini Antonia Kolios is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Endourological Society. Dr. Kolios earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College, New York, in 2005. She completed a surgical and urology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Connecticut. Dr. Kolios obtained her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, New York, in 1996 and a master’s degree from MCP Hahnemann University, Pennsylvania, in 1999. Dr. Kolios has a particular interest in stone disease, bladder cancer, and general men’s and women’s urologic health.
Dr. Kolios loves caring for people in any capacity. What she loves most about her job is knowing she made a difference in her patient’s life. Dr. Kolios focuses her care on the philosophy of treating patients like a member of her family. Her passion is driven by the bonds she forms with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in providing them with the best care. She believes listening, providing support, and making a patient feel comfortable are essential in delivering quality care.
Dr. Kolios is a native of Saratoga Springs and moved back to the area with her husband and two children after training to be near her parents and sister. She loves being outdoors. Her favorite activity is biking with her family at the Saratoga State Park. She spent countless hours there in her youth and feels blessed to be able to share those memories with her family. She also loves spending time in her ever-expanding garden. During winter, she enjoys skiing and trying to keep up with her kids on the slopes!
