Dr. Craig Maier is a board-certified physician who earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. He completed his residency through the Albany Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency program. He is most interested in practicing sound science and evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Maier has always been interested in science which is how his love for medicine was sparked. Growing up, he always tried to understand the beauty of the world, and medicine afforded him the opportunity to pursue that love of learning. It has given him a chance to help the people around him to live healthier and more fulfilling lives. Dr. Maier loves helping patients reach their goals, whether controlling their blood sugar, reaching their target weight, or managing the daily stresses of life.

He and his family are avid hikers and get out any chance they get. You can find them on the trails of the Adirondacks, Catskills, and other local nature preserves!
