Originally from Albany, NY, Bailey is passionate about serving the community where she grew up and now raises her own family. Her healthcare journey began early, fueled by a love for science and nurtured through Albany High School’s Career Explorations Program. After initially working in a laboratory and then in an oral surgery office, she pursued a career in nursing, gaining invaluable bedside experience before advancing her education.
A compassionate provider, Bailey’s care philosophy centers on understanding each patient’s journey. Her favorite part of her work is empowering families to navigate the healthcare system, making informed decisions, and addressing their needs. She firmly believes in listening to patients’ primary concerns and meeting them where they are. Bailey’s professional interests include disease prevention and management, and she approaches patient care with a problem-solving mindset, focusing on collaborative solutions.
Bailey’s dedication to community service extends to her volunteer work at Double H Ranch, where she has been a volunteer RN since 2017, supporting children with life-threatening illnesses.
Reflecting on her training, Bailey’s experience in Albany Medical Center’s pediatric intensive care unit taught her the value of empathy and resilience. Her most impactful rotation in palliative care deepened her commitment to addressing patient goals with dignity and compassion, and she now appreciates the continuity of care that primary care offers.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family, friends, and dogs.
