Community Care Physicians is excited to announce the addition of two esteemed providers, Christina Santiago, FNP-BC, and Ashley Willson, RD, RDN, CDCES, to Community Care Weight Management and Metabolic Care.
Meet Christina Santiago, FNP-BC
Christina Santiago is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s in biology from the University at Albany and an associate’s in nursing from the Samaritan School of Nursing. She received her Master of Science in nursing from Russell Sage. With nearly 13 years of experience in nursing, Christina began her career in the intensive care unit and most recently served on the hospital’s rapid response team. These experiences have shaped her strong clinical foundation and leadership skills, particularly in acute care settings. Introducing Ashley Willson, RD, RDN, CDCES
Ashley Willson is a registered dietitian, registered dietitian nutritionist, and a certified diabetes care and education specialist. Her areas of expertise include weight management, prediabetes and diabetes, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular health, sports nutrition, and women’s health, particularly during the perimenopausal and menopausal stages. Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in nutritional sciences from Russell Sage College and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Delaware. An outdoor enthusiast, Ashley loves running, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and playing golf. She also trains for endurance races, completing the Boston, NYC, and Chicago Marathons.
