Community Care Physicians is excited to announce the addition of two esteemed providers: Amanda Fetter, FNP-C, to Community Care Family Practice Niskayuna, and Bridget Carnivale, RN, BSN, FNP-BC, to our CapitalCare Developmental Pediatrics team.
Meet Amanda Fetter, FNP-C
With a Master of Science in nursing from William Paterson University and early nursing training at St. Peter’s Hospital College of Nursing, Amanda brings a deep commitment to compassionate, whole-person care. Her background includes nearly a decade in dialysis, where she built strong patient relationships and developed expertise in chronic care management. She has a special interest in women’s health, hormonal balance, mental health, preventive medicine, and addressing root causes rather than just symptoms.
Originally from New York, Amanda was raised in a community rooted in service and compassion—values that continue to guide her practice. She aims to create a safe, inclusive space for every patient, with a strong focus on cultural competence and respectful listening. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling, yoga, hiking, and cooking. She’s also an active community volunteer, supporting causes like the Regional Food Bank, Double H Ranch, and local animal welfare events. Amanda takes pride in helping patients reconnect with their resilience and feels honored to support them on their journey to better health. Read her bio to learn more.
Introducing Bridget Carnivale, MSN, RN, FNP-BC
Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, Bridget combines clinical expertise with personal insight, shaped by her own experience as a mother of a child with autism. Originally from Long Island, she earned her biology degree from Siena College before completing accelerated nursing training at Utica College and her master’s at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Her passion for healthcare was solidified during nursing school when a family health crisis revealed the power of compassionate, skilled care.
Bridget is especially passionate about working with children with developmental disorders and supporting early intervention. She focuses on building trust, listening without assumptions, and providing respectful, evidence-based care tailored to each family’s needs. Her goal is to empower patients and families through education, empathy, and honest communication. Outside of her clinical work, Bridget volunteers with Best Buddies International, is learning American Sign Language, and enjoys cooking, gardening, puzzles, and family travel.
