VICA – Virtual Care,  Community Care Physicians' telemedicine app, will now be accessible in the evenings as well as during the day!  You can now schedule an appointment through VICA from 9am to 10pm, Monday through Friday.  VICA allows you to receive care from a licensed, local Community Care provider in real time using video chat on your iPhone, Android device, or iPad.  The app is available for download on the App Store, or you can get it on Google Play.

VICA – Virtual Care by Community Care Physicians is like your own personal Urgent Care, brought directly to you through your smart phone or tablet.  Just like a traditional doctor’s visit, you can see the provider and the provider can see you.  You are simply replacing the exam room for your living room.  You don't have to leave work, leave the house, drive to an office, wait in a waiting room, get a babysitter, or even get out of bed.  VICA lets you bring the doctor to you.

Using your smart device, you can receive care from anywhere in New York State for a number of urgent, acute medical issues, such as flu, gastrointestinal issues, cold, cough, rashes, UTI, bites, headaches, anxiety and more. The provider can even write prescriptions for you. 

The VICA app is free to download and costs $45 per medical visit. The advantage is that you don’t have to travel to the doctor’s office or take a morning off of work. You are seen for your appointment in a location convenient for you – at home, at work, or anywhere in New York State.  Your visit fee includes consultation with a provider to discuss the issue at hand, with treatment and recommendations based on dialogue and presentation (such as prescriptions, recommendation of specialists, and testing when appropriate).
