Dr. Gill completed his radiology residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he serves as an assistant professor of radiology. He has been in practice since 1981 in the Capital Region.

During his tenure, he has served in multiple leadership positions at various area hospitals, including Chief of Radiology at Columbia Health and Director of Imaging Network Development at Community Care Physicians. Dr. Gill has been recognized for his expertise in women’s health, and he has lectured extensively on wellness/preventive care and improving radiologists’ efficiencies both nationally and overseas. He was recognized by the American Cancer Society and the New York State assembly for establishing the first breast cancer screening program for the under and uninsured.

Dr. Gill has a particular interest in helping the global community to provide appropriate levels of care by donating equipment and providing ongoing education through his not-for-profit organization, Radiologists without Borders. To date, this organization has conducted and supported missions in Chile, Haiti, Honduras, Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda that also included establishing the very first breast cancer screening programs for the general public in Honduras and Tanzania. His expertise, coupled with his compassion as a provider and advocacy for his patients to ensure they receive the best care, is what sets him apart from others in his field. When not caring for patients and working, Dr. Gill enjoys traveling the world and daydreaming about the view of our planet from space.
