Russell Wenacur

Biography

Dr. Russell Wenacur is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Physicians, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a member of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians, and a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York. He received his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, in 1994. Dr. Wenacur completed his family medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY, in 1997. He furthered his training as a sports medicine Fellow at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, in 1999. Dr. Wenacur began his studies at SUNY Binghamton in Binghamton, NY, earning his Bachelor of Science in biology in 1990. His experience expands beyond family medicine. He has previously volunteered as a physician for the U.S. Transplant Games and the U.S. Special Olympics.
