Ranen Chakraborty

Biography

Dr. Ranen Chakraborty is board certified in family medicine and has a particular interest in urgent care. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Dr. Chakraborty completed a family medicine residency at Shadyside Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also completed an osteopathic transitional program at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Manhattan, New York, and a general pediatric residency at Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Chakraborty began his studies at Union College in Schenectady, New York, earning his Bachelor of Science. As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Chakraborty brings additional benefits of osteopathic manipulative techniques to diagnose and treat patients.

Dr. Chakraborty grew up in the Capital Region, NY, and enjoys skiing, tennis, and movies.
