Nancy Wilgocki is a physical therapist assistant with over twenty years of experience. She primarily practices at the Community Care Physical Therapy – Latham location. Nancy specializes in orthopedic, sports-related, and acute rehab (i.e., stroke, neurological diagnoses, and cardiac issues). She earned her Associate of Arts, Science, and Physical Therapy in 2001 from Maria College in Albany, NY. Nancy began her studies at Sage College in Albany, NY, earning her associate’s degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies in 1997. She also received her certificate in Gerontology from Maria College.
Nancy decided in high school to pursue a career in which she could help people overcome injuries and setbacks due to physical limitations. She loves interacting with patients and learning new approaches to her job every day. When caring for patients, she believes communication, eye contact, providing undivided attention, and really getting to know their medical status, capabilities, and limitations are essential for quality care.
Nancy is very passionate about her job. She loves helping and understanding people and is always willing to learn more. What brings Nancy the most satisfaction professionally is seeing her patients improve and return to their prior level of function and witnessing their happiness and joy once they improve.
Nancy is originally from Rotterdam, NY. Outside work, she enjoys kayaking, golfing, and spending time with her family.
