EMR Upgrade throughout the weekend: CCP will be completing a scheduled upgrade to our electronic medical record (EMR) system to help enhance and support your care experience. Our practices remain accessible, on-call providers continue to be available, and Latham Urgent Care will remain open for urgent medical needs. Most of this work is happening behind the scenes. If you receive care this weekend, you likely won’t notice any difference, other than occasionally confirming information to ensure we have the most accurate details for your care. We appreciate your patience.

 

If you visit Urgent Care this weekend, it would be helpful to bring a current list of your medications. You should also expect paper prescriptions rather than electronic prescriptions during portions of the upgrade. Any other office-specific changes or instructions will be communicated directly by your practice, if needed. Please check your practice’s website for the latest updates.

Biography

Dr. Marco Vitto earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He began his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts. Dr. Vitto completed his residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He practices radiology at ImageCare Medical Imaging.

Dr. Vitto’s fascination with the physiology and pathology of heart-related illnesses has contributed to his interest and specialty in cardiothoracic imaging. What he enjoys most about his job is the camaraderie with other physicians of different specialties and working together to best help the patient. He also loves that the field of radiology is constantly changing and developing.

When not working, Dr. Vitto enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and going on weekly hikes throughout the Capital Region.
