Kristine Chambers graduated from SUNY Adirondack in 2004 and has been a practicing Registered Nurse for 20 years. Her experience includes surgical, behavioral health, and substance abuse treatment, as well as a practice manager for a family practice. Kristine also completed the Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training and is NAPPI Trained (Non-Abusive Psychological & Physical Intervention).
Several moments inspired Kristine to pursue a career in medicine; many of these moments involved a patient who was scared about what was happening to them. She says, “The opportunity to help a fearful patient feel at ease and comfortable with their care is unbelievably gratifying.” Kristine loves providing reassurance and education to her patients and seeing them improve. She believes listening to her patients and their concerns is most important for quality care.
Originally from Gansevoort, NY, Kristine enjoys hiking, kayaking, and going for walks with her family.
