Kim Gendron, DNP, FNP-BC, NPP-BC, is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional and a proud member of the American Nurses Association. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Science in nursing from Sage College in Troy, NY. With a career rooted in patient-centered care, Kim is deeply committed to empowering her patients and supporting them in improving their self-care and overall well-being.

Kim’s journey in nursing began at the age of 20 when she started as a nurse’s aide. During this time, she discovered her passion for health and wellness education, finding joy in helping others take charge of their health. She believes the most impactful thing she can do for her patients is to guide them in taking control of their well-being while fostering open communication to create collaborative plans for success.

With extensive experience and a commitment to innovative approaches, Kim has significantly improved healthcare delivery. Her areas of special interest include cardiology, disease prevention, and psychiatry, with a particular focus on enhancing mental health outcomes. She finds immense fulfillment in witnessing her patients grow, thrive, and become comfortable in their identities.

Outside of her professional life, Kim enjoys the tranquility of her small hobby farm in North Rensselaer County. She enjoys riding motorcycles and relaxes by knitting, combining her love for creativity and mindfulness.
