Biography

Katie Dunne is a certified physician assistant and a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York Society of Physician Assistants. She received her Master of Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. Katie began her studies by graduating magna cum laude from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Prior to becoming a PA, Katie also served in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician and spent five years as an EMT with the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Katie has spent her career as a physician assistant working in primary care. Katie’s passion for family medicine is driven by the opportunity to develop lifelong relationships with patients that can extend through generations. As a primary care provider, Katie strives to help people achieve their maximum quality of life.

Katie is originally from Arizona. Outside of medicine, she enjoys fitness, skiing, and cheering for her two children in soccer, basketball, and baseball. She sees patients 5 years of age and older at Family Practice Ballston Spa.
