They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
Jennifer Ford, WHNP-BC, ANP-BC, is a board-certified women’s health and adult nurse practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care with a focus on breast health.
Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and completed her graduate education at the prestigious MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She holds dual board certifications from the National Certification Corporation (NCC) in Women’s Health and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Adult Health. She is also a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State.
Her path to medicine was inspired by her own positive experiences with nurse practitioners. That inspiration has shaped her holistic, patient-centered approach. Jennifer believes the most meaningful care considers the whole person, not just the diagnosis, and prioritizes realistic and collaborative health planning. She finds the greatest satisfaction in connecting with patients and knowing she has truly helped them feel heard and cared for.
Jennifer brings over a decade of experience in breast surgery and a deep commitment to breast health—a passion she discovered early in her nurse practitioner career while working in a specialized breast surgery practice. She understands the emotional toll that uncertainty can bring and is dedicated to guiding her patients with compassion, clarity, and expertise, especially when they’re facing complex or challenging health concerns.
Outside work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, dancing, and exploring new restaurants.
