Gregory Reinwald is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner and is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State. Gregory earned his Master of Science in nursing from Russell Sage College, School of Health Sciences in Troy, NY. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, as well as an Associate of Science in nursing and an Associate of Science in math and science from Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson, NY.
Since childhood, Gregory has had a keen interest in science which naturally led to a career in healthcare. After completing his undergraduate education, he worked as a registered nurse (RN) in cardiology at a local hospital and as an RN case manager for a large national insurance provider. While Gregory found his career as a registered nurse rewarding, he felt he had more to offer and decided to further his studies and become an advanced practitioner. Throughout his career and education, he noted how important an effective primary care relationship could be in shaping the health and wellbeing of patients. Gregory believes in a holistic approach to care grounded in building trusting relationships with patients and helping them identify and achieve their health goals.
Gregory was raised locally in the northern Catskills-Greene County area. He relocated to the Capital Region for his education, where he decided to stay and pursue his medical career. When not working, Gregory enjoys music and is both a professional accordionist and a classically trained pianist. He enjoys working with his hands, cooking, skiing, traveling, and is conversationally fluent in German.
